It's Time!

I LOVE Christmas time. There is something so magical about this time of year. I love lights on houses, Christmas music on the radio, decorations up in the house, the smell of a fire in the fireplace.

I have a strict rule that Christmas decorations don't go up until the day after Thanksgiving. If possible, they should come down the day after Christmas. Otherwise, they are down by New Years at the latest. So as you can imagine, I've been looking forward to this day since December 26. We started first thing this morning with the haul from the attic. And as of about 3 minutes ago, the tree is done! So tonight, I am thankful for the most wonderful time of the year.
